Hi, thanks for checking things out.  This is basically a site to show samples to potential and current clients.   Thank you all!  It's nothing fancy, just a bunch of low-res samples in my style of acrylics or watercolor on paper or
sometimes wood or mdf.

Bio:
I'm a native
New Yorker, Born and raised
in Clinton Hill Brooklyn.
I lived most
of my adult life in
Manhattan and
the tiny rural
hamlet of Pine Hill, NY, till 2004 when I moved to Wilson, NC.  Originally a musician and part of the nyc no wave downtown east village music and art gallery scene (I just dated myself),  I tired of lugging a drum kit around and returned to visual art working at Fante stationery and greeting cards in NYC.  Things I like include: photography, chatting with people, travel, reading, music, folk art, the mtns, cities and the ocean, gardening, funny people, britcoms, nice people,  80s, 90s and current indie, cats, exploring new places, canolis, (ahhh Veniero's) cheese grits, sushi, lasagna, exchanging ideas and clever repartee.... etc., etc, etc....

Most of my illustration work is done traditionally and then scanned and adjusted in photoshop if needed and usually supplied to clients digitally.

Naive, whimsical, folksy llustrations (and stock photography) for editorial, corporate, advertising, book and exhibit.
Clients include:
Parents magazine, New York Times,  Utne reader, Hope magazine,  Baltimore magazine, Country Living,  Techworld, Hearst, Cleary Gottleib, Gruner + Jahr,  Vietnam Veterans of America,  Delta, Meredeth Corp, Arts Council of Wilson (permanent collection).
